PROCEEDINGS OF THE EC MEET HELD AT
PLATINUM JUBILEE GUEST HOUSE, ANDHRA UNIVERSITY , ON
EC members from across the division gathered at the picturesque Platinum Jubilee Guest House around 10 AM.
The meet was presided over by our President Com. B Rama Rao. I had shared the dais along with other divisional secretariat members.
The proceedings got underway with all the members paying floral tributes to our founder member and enigmatic leader Shri S W Kalwit and chanting “ S W KALWIT AMAR RAHE ”. Then, President Com. B Rama Rao in his lengthy presidential remarks appraised the members of the recent developments in the industry apart from throwing light on the problems hovering our cadre.
I had presented before the members a detailed report on the activities initiated by the divisional federation during the last quarter and dwelled in detail about the proceedings of the Zonal Executive Committee Meet held at Hyderabad
Later, secretaries from all branches of the division presented their reports. Their concerns mainly centered around agents recruitment – online examination problem, strategies to counter ‘CONCURRENTIA’, inordinate delay of proposals at divisional NB department, flip – flops in business figures determining agents new MBG regulations, confusion over MTA, lack of adequate stationary at branches etc. I have given necessary directives to the problems hurled and also advised the members to stay calm, composed and undeterred during present times and assured them of the light at the end of the tunnel.
All EC members except Yelamanchili Branch have participated in EC meet.
Members felt that Com. W Someswara Rao of PALASA branch should have been given a fitting farewell by his branch comrades as well as by the Divisional Federation on his retirement.
The meet concluded with Com. P V Gandhi of Anakapalle branch proposing vote of thanks and thanking all the members for coming over to the meet.
